The starting compensation for the Production Planner role is $20 / hr with potential for overtime and regular salary increases.

Our client outside York, PA is open to entry level candidates! This would be a great role for a new graduate or someone with a few years of experience.

Key Responsibilities for Production Planner :

• Oversee and update the status of production orders and associated materials.
• Work closely with production leaders, materials group, and purchasing to track work progress and establish completion dates.
• Expedite orders and associated materials as needed.
• Manage shipping schedules for production, inspection, and delivery.
• Keep up-to-date online records of customer orders.
• Document customer order reschedules.
• Develop spreadsheets, letters, forms, and other documents.
• Undertake special assignments and projects as required.

Qualifications for Production Planner :

• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with all levels of employees.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Team player mentality.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical data.
• Ability to interpret various forms of documentation, including assembly drawings, schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, job orders, etc.
• Understanding of electrical drawings and schematics and their application to electrical assembly details.
