Work as a Project Engineer for a global OEM that has been in business since 1950 and is a world leader in modernized processing equipment. They build innovative production machinery for the food, pharmaceutical, and other industries.

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall technical management of the product-handling projects.

What is Required?

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred, or
• Associate of Applied Science degree in an engineering-related field
• Prior role as a Project Engineer
• Ability to travel 15-25%.
• Experience with AutoCAD 2D and SAP preferred.
• WORK ONSITE IN FLOWER MOUND, TEXAS (near Dallas) Mondays through Fridays.

What you will do

• Create the project Conceptual Layout Drawing (CLD) in AutoCAD 2D format
• Work with the Application Engineer in developing a project schedule
• Participate in equipment/product testing
• Taking on-site field dimensions and/or design development
• Generate the project Equipment Layout Drawings (ELD) in AutoCAD 2D format
• Generate a Change Order Log
• Track the ELD approval from the customer
• Generate the Motor and Device (MAD) list
• Generate the Critical Controls Logic for the system (CCL)
• Coordinate PLC Program simulations with the control group
• Generate equipment Product Safety Drawings (PSD)
