We are looking for a responsible custodian / janitor to clean both the shop and office. Must be a hard worker and self-motivated. Will be self-directed based on list of tasks to be completed on a daily / weekly / monthly basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

*Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces

*Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets

*Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and restock disposables (e.g. soap)

*Wipe mirrors and windows

*Maintain outer premises by cleaning entrances and picking up trash

*Preform maintenance and minor repairs (replace broken switches, fix door handles, minor leaks, etc.)

*Sometimes required to secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors and setting alarm.

*General shop cleaning/upkeep

*Metal chip cleanout of machines

*Some Forklift operations (no experience required, we will train)

SKILLS

*Would prefer experience as a custodian/janitor in a similar role but not required

*Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances

*Familiarity with basic landscaping and handyman practices

*Attention to detail and conscientiousness

*Very good physical condition

*High school diploma is preferred but not required

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
