Alexander Muss High School is Israel a signature program of Jewish National Fund-USA (JNF) and known as HSI or AMHSI, delivers a transformative experience for teens through its semester, mini-mester and summer abroad programs in Israel. Unlike any other experience, we are the only pluralist, non-denominational, fully accredited international study abroad program in Israel for high school students – one in which the land of Israel becomes a living classroom. Students spend part of the academic school year or summer in Israel during the sophomore, junior or senior year of high school on an academic adventure, earning high school and college credits. Students enjoy a college-prep environment, living on our Hod HaSharon campus while exploring over 4,000 years of fascinating history, experiencing the land, culture, and people of Israel. AMHSI students return home with a heightened level of maturity and responsibility, along with strong bonds to new friends and a deeper connection to the State of Israel that lasts a lifetime.

Position overview:

Jewish National Fund-USA seeks to recruit a Campaign Associate implement and oversee the execution of the strategic fundraising plan for Alexander Muss High School, work directly with the development committee, AMHSI partners and JNF fundraiser to ensure success of the AMHSI campaign goals. The position will report to the Executive Direct of recruitment and Partnerships and will work closely with them on all aspects of the campaign plan. This position can be based in our New York City, Rockville Centre, NY, Northbrook, IL, Boca Raton, FL, Scottsdale, AZ or Reseda, CA office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prospect potential new donors using various direct methods (such as calling and face-to-face meetings), networking, mining the salesforce database, utilizing social media sites, and research.
  • Work with the JNF fundraisers across the US on donor stewardship, prospecting for new leads and AMHSI events.
  • Draft monthly fundraising reports for presentation to the Board of Directors.
  • Oversee and manage Development Committee members and their respective roles.
  • Update and maintain the monthly fundraising spreadsheet to track donations and progress.
  • Work within the JNF eco-system (planned giving, grants, fundraisers) to ensure that success of the AMHSI campaign
  • Represent Jewish National Fund-USA and AMHSI at various events.
  • Join in on face-to-face meetings for solicitation, cultivation, and recognition of donors both new and prospective.
  • Coordinate, compile and submit grants, grant applications and grant renewals with the Executive Director, Recruitment and Partnerships and Director, Grants and Foundations, and Boruchin Center
  • Work with the Executive Director, Recruitment and Partnerships to coordinate the strategy and needs of the AMHSI development committee.
  • Work with all JNF fundraisers on events where AMHSI is a part of the program to coordinate with appropriate COE
  • Coordinate reports for board meetings and committee meetings as needed from SalesForce
  • Any other duties that your supervisor may assign to you
  • Identify potential new donors using various methods, including Been Verified, networking, Salesforce database mining, social media, and research.
  • Provide fundraisers with necessary tools and support to effectively engage with donors.
  • Manage all campus visit in parentship with campus and Israel
  • Any further duties assigned from your supervisor, which may not be listed above

  • Superior problem-solving and multi-tasking ability
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce)
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to travel throughout the country
  • Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills

Salary range will depend on experience level, but can fall within the range of $55,000-75,000.
