The Katz JCC is proud to be home to the Richard M. Klein Center for Wellness. The state-of-the-art multipurpose facility is utilized for a variety of programs and events with a focus on wellness of the mind, body and spirit. Offerings will include group wellness classes such as yoga, tai chi, meditation, cancer recovery training, weight loss programs, wellness lectures, educational seminars and nutrition counseling. As part of this new initiative, the JCC is pleased to partner with the world-renowned MD Anderson Cooper Cancer Center to offer personal or small group training sessions customized for individuals recovering from cancer. 

The Wellness Instructor is responsible for providing personalized and professional private or small group Wellness Coach consultations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and provide both onsite and virtual Wellness Coaching programs in a safe, enthusiastic and professional manor.
• Responsible for tracking client payments and appointments
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients
• Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing the JCC.
• Maintain a current national Wellness Coach certification
• Maintain current CPR/AED Certification
• Maintain a safe well-rounded environment for all clients
• Ability to work well with other JCC Staff members working toward a common goal to serve members
• Must understand and be able to administer emergency procedures such as evacuation and fire alarms.
• Report any issues to Assistant Fitness Director

Required Education & Experience:

• Must hold National Wellness Coach Certification
• Must hold CPR/AED certification
• High school graduate
