Salary Range:$50.00 To $55.00 Hourly
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The toddler movement dance instructor teaches dance classes for children on-site at the JCCSF Dance School and at on-site school locations in San Francisco. In addition, the instructor assists with the annual dance recital and helps create and maintain a clean and safe environment for dance participants.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach children ages 18 months - 2.5yrs.
• Create curriculum for all classes.
• Assist in promoting programs and outreach to schools and community groups.
• Work collaboratively with other dance instructors.
• Additional duties as required for the dance program.

REQUIREMENTS

• Recent experience teaching young children.
• Provide a sample lesson plan for a children's 50-minute toddler dance class.
• Must be reliable, warm and welcoming, and have good communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is conducted on-site at the JCCSF.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to demonstrate and teach a variety of dance movements. Occasional lifting/carrying of weights up to 20 lbs.

Non-benefited, non-exempt position
HOURS/SCHEDULE
Additional hours as a substitute instructor for toddler movement classes may be available during the week. Sundays: 10:00Am -10:50Am, potential for additional sessions as program grows.
