Jewish Community Center of San Francisco is Hiring a Substitute Children’s Ballet Instructor Near San Francisco, CA
Teach children’s ballet dance classes as needed on a substitute basis. Classes are conducted on-site in the dance studios of the JCCSF Dance School. All instructors help create and maintain a clean and safe environment for dance participants.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach children ages 3-10.
- Follows curriculum for all classes.
- Work collaboratively with other dance instructors.
- Additional duties as required for the dance program.
REQUIREMENTS
- Recent experience teaching children’s dance classes
- Provide a sample lesson plan for a children’s 50-minute dance class
- Must be reliable, warm and welcoming, and have good communication skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is conducted on-site in the dance studios of a large community center. Work involves close contact with children and their families.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to demonstrate and teach a variety of dance movements.
STATUS
Non-benefited, non-exempt position
HOURS/SCHEDULE
On call/as needed. If called in, could be during any of the following times:
Monday – Friday: 2:30 –6:30PM; Saturday & Sunday 10am-1pm
