Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for growth.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Mix and match colors to achieve desired shades
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective gear when necessary
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter in the construction industry
- Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials
- Familiarity with concrete finishing, plastering, masonry, and stucco work
- Ability to restore surfaces by removing old paint or wallpaper
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean work area
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Basic construction estimating skills are a plus
