The full-time faculty member handles implementing all aspects of a full-time faculty position including face-to-face teaching, office hours that support students, prepping for all learning environments, student evaluations, implementing the systematic evaluation plan, and serving on committees as assigned.
Summary of Major Duties/Responsibilities
Develop and install lesson plans to meet the course learning outcomes and competencies.
Engage in active learning in the classroom and nursing skills laboratory.
Tutor students as needed especially those earning 80% or lower on a classroom exam.
Oversee part-time faculty when co-teaching a course.
Engage on ongoing continuing education related to teaching responsibilities and clinical nursing practice.
Current registration as a professional nurse in Pennsylvania.
Bachelor's in nursing
2 years experience in nursing practice.
