PositionSummary:

AMaintenance Mechanic for JSM will be responsible for keeping the production outputoptimized by maintaining seamless functioning of all equipment/machinery andfostering operations teams. An individual in this role will be required toset-up, adjust, and maintain machinery to very close tolerances.

Essential Functions:

· Respond, locate, identify,and troubleshoot sources of problems on mail machines.

· Provide support, answerquestions, and establish effective relationships with operators and othertechnicians.

· Perform timely preventative inspectionsand maintenance on machines, equipment, parts, and supplies.

· Report to Supervisors onperformance of machines, jobs, and operators. Communicate recurringequipment malfunctions and corrective action required.

· Connect with vendors andsuppliers for guidance when needed.

· Conserve maintenanceresources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish jobresults. Authorized Machine Technicians place orders.

· Keep a record of all service,maintenance and refurbishing works carried out on the machinery.

· Comply with company policiesand procedure.

· Promote company values andculture.

Requirements

Education,Training, and Experience

•High school diploma orequivalent. Technical school or an Associate’s degree or diploma inmechanical engineering or any other related field of study preferred but notrequired.

•Two or more years of experienceworking in a Machine Technician role.

•One or more years ofexperience in a print or mail industry preferred but not required.

•Experience in qualitycontrol, lean manufacturing, safety, is a plus.

Essential:

•Ability to demonstrate solidmechanical aptitude, such as pulleys, gears, belts, etc.

•Ability to read and interpretequipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

•Knowledge of OccupationalSafety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance and regulations.

•Physical ability to do workrequiring frequent stooping and bending.

•Physical strength to lift andcarry 25 pounds frequently.

•Must provide own tools.
