The delivery drivers' primary responsibility is the delivery of food orders to individual customers. Our drivers will receive training which allows them to utilize a point of sale (including interactive live mapping, which assists them with order priority, routing and mapping.) Secondarily drivers are utilized in providing great customer service while receiving orders by phone. When our drivers are not delivering or taking customer orders over the phone, our drivers participate in general clean up and store prep. We are hiring for both of our Champaign locations. 512 S Neil Street and 1907 W Springfield Ave. We pay on a two tier pay system. $8 on the road and $12 when inside, along with $2.50 per run and all tips made.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with 2 years of driving experience
• Valid drivers license and auto insurance
• Good driving record
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork
• Previous experience in food service or related fields (not required, but a plus)

With the exception of the company-owned Jets Pizza locations that are located in Michigan, Illinois, Florida, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Colorado, all other Jets Pizza locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees. This means that the franchisor Jets America, Inc. has no involvement in running the daily operations of the franchisee, nor does the franchisor have any control or authority over the hiring, firing, wages, hours or terms and conditions of employment of the franchisees employees. The independent franchisee controls all of those topics and makes decisions regarding them without the involvement of the franchisor. Franchisees are small business owners who are the sole employers for their own Jets Pizza locations, and are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, including employment laws. Jets America, Inc. is the franchisor of the Jets Pizza chain. As the franchisor it will not be involved with the employment policies and practices at franchised locations or with establishing the terms and conditions of any employment relationship with individuals applying to or hired at franchised locations.
