Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Installation of HVAC units, electronic and mechanical components.
- Installation of HVAC ductwork including flexible tubing and sheet metal construction.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units including electronic and mechanical components.
- Reads blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools and diagnostic hardware.
- Operates various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments.
- Install or gas lines.
- Conserve, install, and recycle CFC and HCFC (Chlorofluorocarbon family) refrigerants if certified.
- Comply with the standards for HVAC systems as dictated by the State in which the work is being done.
- May perform brazing, soldering, pipefitting, welding, and fabrication if certified.
- Install Condensate pipping
Minimum Qualifications and Experience :
- 3 years of HVAC installation experience
- Ability to read blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Ability to check work email (smartphone, computer, tablet, etc) - the company provides a $10 stipend for data
