Essential Duties for Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitter

• Knowledge of piping systems materials and their properties, including but not limited to plastics, iron, malleable steel, copper, brass, chromium, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Possess knowledge of pipe fabrication practices and procedures including electric, arc, and acetylene welding, brazing, and soldering.
• Familiarity with threading, glued, bolted, and compression-type fittings.

Requirements for Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitter

• 6 years of fire / sprinkler experience.
• 2 years of Foreman experience is preferred.
• Ability to relay instructions and directions to workers.
• Highly organized, systematic, and adherent to construction deadlines.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work overtime.
