The primary function of this position is to achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; and assisting in the hiring process. The Healthcare Recruiter will established recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs.

Day-To-Day Activities:

• Sourcing candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline (i.e. Indeed, LinkedIn, Paylocity, etc.)
• Screening candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications and performing phone screenings
• Performing reference checks as needed
• Acting as liaison between hiring manager and the candidate
• Scheduling interviews and keeping track of hiring manager schedules
• Writing and delivering offer letters and negotiating employment terms

The Medical Recruiter MUST have experience recruiting in the healthcare profession.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing methods
• Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS's
• Proficient with Excel as well as the entire Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Understanding of employment/staffing laws and regulations
• High school diploma required, college degree preferred
• Must be a team player
