Job Title: Food Runner

Reports to : Store Leadership

Definition: The Food Runner helps assist the service staff in the service of the guest. The Food Runner helps make sure service is more efficient and to guarantee the best possible dining experience for the guest. The Food Runner makes sure the right plate gets to the right seat at the right time. Every guest is a unique individual, and every group is a unique group full of unique individuals. Job Requirements: We are an ALL HANDS IN and ALL HANDS OUT operation, meaning we believe to provide the best service and hospitality, regardless of an employee's main job, you are expected to go beyond in providing the best experience for our guests. Below is a general list of responsibilities to give an understanding go what will be done during a shift but the responsibilities as a member of a Jester Concepts location are not limited to this list:

• Follow the Core Values.
• Greet guests in a positive and friendly manner.
• Help clean and reset tables.
• Ensure guests' meals are placed in a professional and logical manner.
• Ensure guests food is the correct order.
• Ensure guests receive an explanation of the dishes when placing them down.
• Help clean and reset tables.
• Communicates with and supports all team members to better serve the guests.
• Work as a team and use positive communication skills at every opportunity.
• Pre-bus and communicate with fellow staff members to try and clear entire table at once in an open style whenever possible.
• Anticipate and exceed your guests' expectations.
• Keeping Management informed of all potential problems or emergencies.
• Help clean, stock, and maintain server station as well as workstation throughout shift.
• Show up on time, dressed to code standards and ready to work.
• Help maintain a professional standard of cleanliness throughout.
• Assist in other roles as needed and other specific tasks as required.
• Helping the Chef team with random tasks as needed.

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

• Weekend availability a must
• 1 years prior experience in full service restaurants
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and effectively communicate with the team
