Jersey Shore University Medical Center is Hiring a Wound Care Physician Assistant Per Diem O/P JSUMC, OUMC Near Neptune, NJ
The Physician Assistant assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards.The Wound Care Per Diem Physician Assistant performs the role utilizing the patient-centered coordinated care model demonstrated through the following competencies: leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision making. Works collaboratively with other members of the practice/hospital team to assess, plan and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs. InPatient Wound Care Experience Needed and National Certification- Wound Care. This position will cover Jersey Shore UMC and Ocean UMC for 16 - 20 hours/week. Schedule would be Monday & Wednesday pm and Friday all day at JSUMC (mornings would be ostomy and afternoons would be wound care).
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. Successful completion of an approved physician¿s assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Licenses and Certifications Required: 1. Physician Assistant License. 2.
