Jersey Shore CML is currently hiring for a Production Line Yeast Catcher to join our central manufacturing facility. Please note, this is not a remote position.

As Production Line Yeast Catcher you will be expected to work as a team with the Yeast line mixer and the Yeast line Operator. You oversee the quality and appearance of the donuts going onto a screen. You will be putting these screens and put onto a rack. Allowing them to cool for production. This position you need to keep up with the screen loader machine ensuring its filled with screens to catch the donuts on. This role is important as you are making sure the donuts are maintaining their quality to be able to be used for production. If there is an issue with the donuts or machine you will be communicating to the supervisor or Yeast line operator.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to identify and remove poor quality donuts
• Ability to fill screens with donuts
• Ability to lift screens and place onto racks
• Ability to clean workstation once production is completed
• Ability to learn and clean glaze reservoir once production is completed
• Enjoys learning, in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain clean and organized work environment
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Good attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet requirements, while maintaining a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• To be able to load screen machine with screens
• Ability to keep up with moving equipment
• Be able to move screen rack up to 50 lbs.
• To perform the essential job functions safely and successfully
• Standing for long periods of time (8 hours)
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to effectively communicate with supervisor and other team members both written and verbally
• Strong understanding of GMP Compliance guidelines
• Serv Safe Certified, preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred
• Must be able to work the following shift: 3:00PM - 10:00PM
