Job Description:

Crew Member, you are crucial in providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious subs for our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

 Greet customers with a friendly positive-helpful attitude and provide excellent customer service.

 Have excellent menu and product knowledge.

 Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.

 Work together with the line team to prepare cold and hot subs to customer specifications, while following cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements

 Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to Jersey Mike's Subs' recipes and standards.

 Operate kitchen equipment such as *slicers* (must be 18), ovens, and toasters safely and

responsibly.

 Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing

workstations and equipment.

 Ensure restaurant cleanliness daily by clearing and wiping tables, sweeping, and mopping floors, washing, and sanitizing kitchen utensils, and servicing restrooms.

 Input orders into a point-of-sale system and accept payment using a credit card reader or cash

register, calculating change accurately and quickly as required.

 Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of our products.

 Assist in stocking ingredients and supplies as needed.

 Maintain a neat and tidy appearance by wearing the required uniform and adhering to a

corporate dress code.

 Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

 Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems

according to Jersey Mike's standards and policy.

 REPORT ANY UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR TO MANAGEMENT

Requirements:

 Must be at least 18 years old to operate the slicer.

 Previous experience in the food service industry is a plus but not required.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 Willingness to learn and follow Jersey Mike's standards and procedures.

 Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

 Ability to stand for long hours at a time and work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
