Jeremiah Cafe is looking to hire a server. The store hours are Monday- Friday 7 am -5 pm and Saturday 10 am - 3 pm. The server will work shifts like 7am- 4pm or 8 am - 5pm. The position has part time and full time hours available.

We will only serve breakfast and lunch. The kitchen will close at 3 pm. From 3 -5, we will only have coffee, tea, pastries, desserts, etc. We will also use that time to prep food for the next day.

We are a casual dining cafe that plans to have a soft opening in July 2024 and fully open in August 2024.

Jeremiah Cafe is a teaching restaurant. We intend to hire people on the autism spectrum to give them job experiences like kitchen prep, server, host, etc. Anyone applying needs to be able and willing to help coach these people on any restaurant skills.

The server must:

• Be on time for every shift
• Answer phone calls for to go orders
• Be dependable
• Be willing to help in any area, as needed, during rush or downtime
• Watching over the lobby to see customers are getting what they need
• Helping people on the autism spectrum learn restaurant skills and make sure they are accurately completing tasks
• Take and ring up orders
• Take care of tables assigned - all server duties
