Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing accurate financial information to support decision-making processes. This is a key leadership role within the organization.

Duties:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department

- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls

- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant regulations

- Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to senior management

- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

- Collaborate with other departments to develop budgets and forecasts

- Provide guidance and support to accounting staff, including training and professional development opportunities

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures

- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, etc.

- Experience in general ledger accounting and financial report writing

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data

- Solid understanding of financial concepts and ability to apply them effectively

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
