Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Farm Hand/Heavy Equipment Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various farm tasks, primarily focusing on the movement of crops and operating heavy machinery efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the transportation and movement of crops from field to storage or processing areas.
• Operate heavy equipment including tractors, forklifts, loaders, and other machinery as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Perform general farm duties such as planting, harvesting, irrigation, and fertilization as required.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries on the farm.
• Communicate effectively with farm supervisor to coordinate tasks and priorities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, equipment, and storage facilities.
• Adhere to all farm policies and procedures, including environmental and regulatory compliance standards.
• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons and adapt to changing weather conditions.
• $18-$22/hr

Requirements:

• Previous experience working on a farm or in a similar agricultural setting preferred.
• Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and loaders.
• Knowledge of basic farm practices, crop handling, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness to operate machinery safely.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Must be 18 years old
• Bilingual preferred
• Basic understanding of safety regulations and protocols related to farm operations.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and farming techniques.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work hard.

Job Type: Full-time
