WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
The Human Resources Partner is a key position in our Northern Nevada Operations. This position supports corporate projects and provides tactical support for the Company's manufacturing operations in Sparks, NV. In this role, you utilize experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives, and impact both short-term and long-term business goals.
Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, you'll primarily work with the corporate human resources team and members of our manufacturing plants' leadership teams.
Principle Accountabilities

• Guide leaders and employees regarding Company policies, values, HR programs, administration, and interpretation to ensure consistency and promptness in handling policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition team to recruit hourly and salaried personnel.
  1. Coordinate onboarding activities for employees at our corporate and manufacturing operations, ensuring a positive employee experience.
• Ensure activities comply with all state and federal employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, and FLSA).
• Provide guidance and resources on all matters related to compensation (e.g., equity adjustments, promotions, new hires, etc.)
• Collaborate with corporate HR and plant operations teams on developing and delivering training programs to employees at all business levels.
• Assist leadership in performance management and developing effective pipeline and succession plans.
• Assist in the development and execution of strategies to improve organizational health and culture.

Additional candidate attributes include:

• A bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related discipline is preferred. SHRM-CP or PHR designation is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner or Generalist.
• Understanding and demonstrated experience with the core aspects of Human Resource Management (staffing, employee relations, performance management).
• Courage to execute tough decisions and deliver complex messages professionally and poised.
• A confident communicator, able to effectively present to all levels of the organization.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity in the development of solutions based on facts/data analytics.
• Must possess a consultative approach and proven ability to develop credible relationships with business partners.
• Bilingual is a plus but not required.
