Overview

JENSEN HUGHES, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Specialist in Sydney or Melbourne to support the Pacific region (Australia and New Zealand) to join a growing team of global IT Specialists. This is a newly created position due to growth in the region! The ideal candidate will already be residing and familiar with living and working in one of the aforementioned locations. This will be a hybrid remote & in-office position due to recent acquisition and integration work that will require some on-site duties. Successful candidate will join a growing company and perform a wide range of IT duties that include user support, infrastructure management and deployment, remote office integrations, and software solution implementation.

Responsibilities

Typical Responsibilities:

• Responding to user support calls and emails including, but not limited to:
• Troubleshooting hardware and software on user PCs
• Installing software and limited hardware
• Password and MFA resets
• IT system onboarding and offboarding
• Imaging and physically deploying user PCs
• Smartphone email client setup and/or MDM enrollment
• Remote and local installations and upgrades of enterprise software and hardware, including networking equipment
• Liaison with local vendors to procure equipment and/or services
• Supporting IT integration tasks of acquired business units in the Pacific region
• Working with corporate IT team and technical leads to solve technical and IT-related business challenges in the region.

Qualifications

Ideal requirements:

• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in administering and troubleshooting Windows 10 & 11 in a Microsoft domain environment, including Active Directory
• Experience working in a IT ticket-driven environment preferred
• Experience working in an environment with Information Security policies and procedures highly desired
• Experience managing users and resources in Microsoft 365, additional experience a plus
• Experience supporting a mixed local and remote user base with remote control software and working with remote teammates across multiple offices
• Basic troubleshooting TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, and VPN issues
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve problems with sometimes unfamiliar or specialty software
• Expose to and understanding of basic SCCM and Intune architecture (including AutoPilot) highly desired
