Jensen Gardens is looking to grow our business with new employees who can help keep our customers' yards looking unique and inspired.

Horticulturist Responsibilities:

• Implementing our healthy beds program which maintains ornamental beds and plant health for our customers
• Weeding, Spraying, Trimming, Fertilizing, Watering, Bed Cleanup
• Discussing plants and plant health with customers
• Identifying plants and plant health issues and executing management decisions to maintain plant health and keep our customers ornamental beds looking inspired
• This job is in Springfield, Nebraska. Work days are Monday through Friday 7:00am-5:00pm with occasional Saturday’s 7:00am-12:00pm.
• Everyday offers new challenges and opportunities for you to learn and grow.

Horticulturist Qualifications:

• Plant Identification - including weeds, perennials, shrubs and trees
• Diagnosis of plant health issues
• Knowledge and experience related to landscaping
• Ability to work outside in hot weather
• Driver’s license with a clear driving record

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• At least 2 years experience in the horticulture industry OR 2 years horticulture education or related field.
• EPA Applicator license

Horticulturist Benefits:
