Jennings Excavation is Hiring a Project Manager - Heavy Civil Near Hollis, NH

Family owned Southern NH contractor is looking for motivated experienced Project Manager with estimating experience and an extensive knowledge of all phases of heavy site work construction to join our team.

Must have:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil engineering environment including all phases of earthwork, utilities, soils, etc.
  • Estimating experience.
  • Proven track record $500-$5M single job performance.
  • Ability to interface between GCs, field personnel and subcontractors.
  • Ability to work well with Site Superintendents, ensuring all materials and subcontractors are ready and available to meet schedules.
  • Ability to work well with Estimating and Accounting personnel to understand and manage the job budgets and job costs.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet scheduling deadlines, process RFIs, clarifications, change orders, requisitions, etc. in a timely manner so as not to delay the project.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and complete projects on time and in an efficient, effective and profitable manner.
  • Ability to successfully negotiate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional recordkeeping i.e. document control.
  • Ability to work in stressful situations.
  • Intuitive computer skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel spreadsheets, Trimble Business Center, HCSS, Heavy Job and Foundation Software a plus.
  • Trimble Automation experience a plus but not required.
