Jennings Building Supply, a division of US LBM, is seeking a Yard Warehouse Associate for our Fletcher, NC location!

Jennings Builders Supply & Hardware is a division of US LBM, a leading distributor of specialty building materials in the United States.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM-4PM

Wage: $17 per hour (weekly pay)

Job Duties:

• Pull materials from racks, units or other storage areas to prepare for pick up or shipping
• Organize material in a manner to best ensure it arrives safe and undamaged
• Remove building materials from units and place boards in rack, according to grade and length
• Remove defective and/or damaged material from racks for cut-back
• Assist customer or drivers with loading
• Maintain good working relationship with customers, fellow employees and management
• Maintain the appearance of the yard and racks in an orderly and clean manner focusing on the area
• Unload and load - heavy lifting of building material

Requirements:

• Construction or building material supplies preferred but not required, we are willing to train the right candidates
• Forklift experience
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs consistently and bend, twist, squat and reach throughout work shift, working in all weather conditions
• Excellent work ethic and attendance
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
