Jenkintown Day Nursery is seeking enthusiastic and reliable TODDLER teacher to join our team of dynamic educators! We are also seeking full and part time FLOATERS.

Jenkintown Day Nursery provides a safe, supportive and enriching environment for children ages 1-5. Our children get an outstanding start on their education in small, nurturing classes, which combine learning and play. Our teachers promote independence, self-esteem, positive attitudes and readiness skills, preparing children for success.

We are currently seeking qualified Toddler teachers who will:

• Meet the individual needs of the children providing the highest quality of care
• Develop Lesson plans
• Implement Jenkintown Day Nursery Curriculum
• Support our children and families as a member of a team
• Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment
• Promote a nurturing and learning environment
• Create a multi-cultural learning environment
• Engage and encourage creativity through art, music, and play
• Plan and implement activities that develop self-esteem and social skills
• Participate in staff and training meetings

Qualified candidates for the Toddler Teacher position will have the following:

• Min of an CDA
• Associate Degree a plus!
• 2 years of documented experience working with children
• Hours- Monday - Friday 9:00-6:00

Qualified candidates for the Floater position will have the following:

• High School Dipolom or Equivilant
• 2 years of documented experience working with children
• Hours- Full time and part time hours available
