Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations of our facility. The Maintenance Director will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment and systems. This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to effectively manage projects and resources.
Duties:
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and safe operation of all equipment and systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment repairs, installations, and upgrades
- Manage the preventive maintenance program, including scheduling routine inspections, servicing, and repairs
- Oversee the troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and other systems
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed to support maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
- Collaborate with other departments to support facility improvement projects
Experience:
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or facilities management
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
- HVAC certification preferred
- Previous experience managing a team of maintenance technicians
- Demonstrated project management skills
