JEM Routes, Inc is a Contractor with FedEx Ground and is seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting packages to our customers and businesses. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will be the face of our company and play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction.
```Responsibilities```
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including box trucks, vans.
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws, and DOT regulations while driving
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, DOT pre and post trip inspections
```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Commercial driving experience, preferably with experience driving box trucks or Step vans,P1000's.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads, drivers are expected to move packages weighing up to 150 lbs, with accommodation of hand truck.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
-Being a professional and safe driver.
-Excellent organizational and time management
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
-Drivers must be a minimum 21 years of age
