JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Supervisor, IT Site Support to join our growing team.
The Opportunity As a Supervisor, IT Site Support, you will be responsible for supervision of the IT staff with a focus on developing people, products, and processes. In this role, you will also provide IT support and ERP system maintenance and development as needed. This role will report directly to the Production Manager.
This position is based onsite and located in our Mt. Vernon, OH facility.

The Opportunity As a Supervisor, IT Site Support, you will be responsible for supervision of the IT staff with a focus on developing people, products, and processes. What You Will Do
- Properly manage staff with a review process in place to check work accuracy.
- Coordinates trouble shooting of issues occurring during production relating to the ERP system.
- Prepares and monitors work assignments of projects to ensure time and budget commitments are met.
- Manages all IT requirements and assists as required to keep the network up to date and operating correctly.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
- Ensures the analysis and resolution of problems associated with existing application systems.
- Responsible for adding new functionality to existing systems.
- Maintain and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Develop and present process implementation discussions to the plant leadership.
- Coordinate outsourced network and software support.
- Support the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals, and office automation equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and/or procedural problems and work with Network Support Vendor to resolve issues.
- Office Environment.
- Regularly lifts 25 to 50 lbs.
- Stationary 80% office/production environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems technology or equivalent experience.
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in a managerial role.
- 5 - 7 years previous IT experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 5 - 7 years basic software and ERP maintenance experience.
- Experience with the following is desirable:
- Industry knowledge of window manufacturing software.
- SQL Reporting
- Crystal Reports
- AutoCAD
- IP Telephone Systems
- Must possess the ability to be self -motivated and work well independently.
- Requires knowledge and application of basic problem-solving skills.
- Must show strong attention to detail and be mechanically inclined.
- Demonstrated ability to provide sound judgment and technical knowledge in a professional manner.
- Must possess strong interpersonal abilities and the ability to effectively communicate utilizing both written and verbal methods.
- High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day -to-day activities.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively.
