**Job Overview:**

JEI Learning Center is seeking a passionate and engaging Instructor to join our team! We are dedicated to providing personalized instruction and building a strong foundation in Math, English, Reading-Writing, Problem-solving, and Critical thinking for students of all ages (Pre-K to 9th grade).

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective instruction to individual students and small groups, tailored to their specific needs and learning styles.
• Utilize JEI's proven curriculum and methodology to teach a variety of math, English, Reading-Writing, Problem-solving, and Critical thinking concepts, from basic to advanced.
• Utilize JEI's assessments package to track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Provide clear explanations, break down complex concepts, and encourage critical thinking skills.
• Motivate and inspire students to develop a positive attitude towards math, English, reading, writing, problem solving, and critical thinking.
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate effectively with other instructors and center staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts through high school level and ideally beyond.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and instructional skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
• Passion for teaching and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
• Experience working with children of various ages and learning styles is a plus.
• Experience with JEI's curriculum or similar learning center methodologies is a plus.
