Job Summary:

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will focus on understanding the systems in the Account receivable department. Strong knowledge on how customer service department works.

You will:

• Maintain an accurate account of our customer returns
• Rotate files when necessary
• On-line return process of our Marketplace stores
• Daily Deposits of incoming checks
• Posting payments in AR system
• Keying in Journal Entries for checks received
• Maintain an accurate account for our shipping damages
• Assist with the accurate entries of customer tax exemption certificates
• Back up other Team members when needed
• Partner with other JEGS associates at all levels as needed to research issues, answer questions, and provide information
• Assist in the chargeback process
• Process improvements
• Other support duties as needed

You have:

• 1 year accounting experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• An ability to work independently
• Completed repetitive tasks at a fast pace
• Effectively handle confidential information
• ERP knowledge (understand g/l)
• AS400 a plus, not required
• At least H.S. Graduate or college
