Orlando (near downtown) Personal Injury law firm seeks a Personal Injury Associate to handle an existing caseload.

Job Requirements: We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable working in a busy office environment in handling personal injury/litigation matters. This includes pre-suit work-up of cases, preparing pleadings, litigating cases, handling various client and marketing matters, and superior customer service. This law firm ACTUALLY goes to trial. If you want to gain trial experience, then this is the place to be! You will be mentored by a lawyer who many regard as one of the best Personal Injury litigators in Central Florida. The applicant must have strong legal skills that should include personal injury experience, a general understanding of medical injuries, computer skills and the ability to learn software applications quickly (Experience with Prevail and Word preferred but not mandatory). Careful attention to detail is very, very critical. Must be highly organized. A strong work ethic and strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to effectively prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously are mandatory. Some legal research and appellate work is needed too.

The successful candidate must consistently follow through and follow-up on matters, must have a positive attitude, have a professional appearance and a smiling face, be self-motivated and a self-starter, be punctual and productive, and must be 100% committed to providing top-notch service to our clients. Fluent in both English and Spanish is welcomed, but not mandatory. The applicant MUST have a Florida Bar license and be ready to start litigating on the first day. Salary is commensurate with experience, but likely will start with a base salary plus commissions. The ability to make more money with time and in bonuses is certain.
