Job Summary

Jeffrey Automotive is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Parts Advisor to provide excellent customer service to our parts department customers! The Parts Advisor will be responsible for receiving orders from dealers and clients, maintaining inventory, and responding to customer inquiries in a timely and friendly manner.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, process, and fulfill parts orders from dealers and other customers.
  • Research parts requests when necessary.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Assist in setting and maintaining product and service sales goals.
  • Ensure orders are accurately filled and delivered on schedule.
  • Maintain physical inventories.
  • Advise customers on which parts will best suit their needs.
  • Track pars inventory levels and order additional parts as needed.
  • Any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Parts Advisor
  • Knowledge in parts dealership operations and the automotive parts business
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, diagnostics and repair Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Must be able to navigate a computer and use diverse programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
