We are actively seeking a Data Administrator to join our Sales and Development department (core schedule, Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm)

Position Summary: This position is responsible for managing customer 2D/3D drawing data, as well as quickly and accurately creating and maintaining the necessary documents related to them.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

• Manage all customer design data and drawings received by JIC.
• Drawing data must be received, filed, and properly distributed within 24 hours.
• Maintain and promote drawing data management system
• Create and maintain related documents including drawing tracking, design change notices, parts lists and work instructions
• Convert and manipulate drawings using CATIA V5 / 3DExperience
• Review 2D and 3D drawing data to extract basic part information and design change points
• Support Design Change process data from Honda
• Lead or participate in assigned projects.
• Work with all related departments and J-groups to solve problems and improve business
• Always report the situation to managers and seek consultation / judgment as necessary
• Realize customer requirements and build good relationships.
• Creation of documents required for new model development
• Responsible for improving work accuracy and efficiency, and automating work.

Secondary (Backup) Position Responsibilities:

• Maintain open lines of communication with team members and partners
• Reply to customer requests with good tactic to balance customer satisfaction and company benefit.
• Provide basic training support related to drawing comprehension and drawing management system

• Additional duties as assigned.
  • Example: Create CAD data to be utilized by Development group.

Qualifications:This job requires the ability to accurately and quickly perform data entry and data management using Microsoft Office. Previous experience in new model development (or related engineering experience), CATIA V5 / 3DExperience (or similar CAD) is helpful.
