Location: Port Townsend, WA

Facilities Maintenance: Jefferson County is seeking a highly motivated, experienced individual to fill a Temporary Facilities Maintenance opening. The successful candidate will perform repair and maintenance in County buildings, facilities and related equipment. Duties of the position include repair and maintenance activities that require knowledge of various trade skills including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, plastering and refrigeration maintenance.

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED and four years of experience in facilities maintenance (certification in a one year maintenance training course may substitute for two year experience); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Hours & Compensation: This is a 90-day temporary position, there are no additional benefits. One hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked. Pay is $35.00 per hour.
