Job Description: Medical Assistant- part-time

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in providing patient care. This includes taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and performing basic medical procedures. The Medical Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining patient records and ensuring that all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program
• Certification as a Medical Assistant
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend and stoop
• Ability to use hands and fingers to manipulate equipment and instruments
