Jefferson City Medical Group is Hiring a Practice Manager, Express Care Near Jefferson, MO

PRACTICE MANAGER, EXPRESS CARE- (Exempt Status)
Jefferson City Medical Group (JCMG) is looking for compassionate, hardworking Practice Manager to join our growing Team. They will be responsible for all department Express Care staff, clinical and non-clinical. Accountable to the Director of Clinical Operations and Physician department head.

Salary is based on experience.
Full-time positions are eligible for full benefits, including insurance, 148 PTO hours per year, 56 hours of paid Holidays per year including the day after Thanksgiving, and an Employee Retirement Plan (401K) with employer match. Tuition reimbursement and a grow our own Medical Assistant Program.
SUMMARY OF ROLE
Managerial Oversight of 3 Express Care locations (two locations in Jefferson City, one location in Fulton, MO) with operations Monday-Sunday weekly. Supervisory responsibility of clinical and non-clinical staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and maintain a high-performing team by interviewing, selecting, training, evaluating, coaching, counseling, disciplining, and leading staff within assigned areas of responsibility.
Achieve and maintain high patient satisfaction by creating a culture of care, investigating and responding to patient problems and complaints, and following up on satisfaction surveys.
Achieve and maintain high staff satisfaction by leading, developing, and supporting a high-performing team.
Consistently communicate with staff to keep all informed of goals, expectations, policy/procedure changes, and activities relating to the assigned areas and all JCMG.
Ensure the prompt delivery of patient services by implementing improvements and enhancements to patient access and efficient patient flow.
Establish, maintain, and monitor staffing levels, productivity, and throughput.
Manage the development, coordination, and maintenance of daily staffing schedules to ensure the appropriate level of coverage.
Confer with director, departmental chair, administration, practice physicians, and others to resolve operational problems and to promote excellence in the delivery of care.
Coordinate and direct the development of processes and procedures for assigned areas, which are compatible with established policies of JCMG/MMG.
Develop and produce monthly practice activity reports related to clinical, financial, and operational outcomes.
Assist with the development, administration, and achievement of the budget and financial targets of the assigned clinic(s).
Represent the area of responsibility as needed or requested by the supervisor or administration.
Monitor and oversee time and attendance in alignment with JCMG/MMG policies and practices, ensuring accuracy of records and timely approval for payroll purposes.
May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree.
Two (2) years of experience in a health care setting
One (1) year of supervisory experience.
Completion of a health care-related fellowship program and a master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related area may be substituted for the experience and supervisory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a health or business related field
Master’s degree in business or healthcare administration
Two (2) years of supervisory experience
Experience in a medical practice or ambulatory care environment
Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with a large team
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to problem solve
Ability to work effectively with Physicians, Administrative/Management staff, internal and external customers, and patients.
Excellent computer skills
Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
