Jefferson - Center City, Philadelphia, PA is Hiring a Postdoctoral Research Fellow- Department of Neurology Near Philadelphia, PA

The Clinical Neuropsychology Fellows participate in all aspects of neuropsychological and psychological evaluations conducted in line with our service commits to the Department of Neurology, and the wide hospital-based practice of the Jefferson Neuropsychology Division. While the Fellows undertake assessments, both brief and extended, with a wide range of neurologic and psychiatric disorders, our training program has an emphasis on epilepsy and dementia/cognitive disorders evaluations due to our close relationship with the Jefferson Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and the Jefferson Cognitive Neurology Program.

Fellows participate in the training and supervision of our graduate school interns and practicum students, as well as our neuropsychology technicians. Fellows participate in the provision of feedback to patients and their families, and contribute to consultative communication with referring providers. Fellows can participate in psychotherapeutic and rehabilitative interventions and services under the supervision of Neuropsychology Faculty.

Fellows are also provided with opportunities for research. Fellows participate in our weekly neuropsychology training sessions, Neurology and Neurosurgery department grand rounds, as well as other training sessions related to case review, report writing, and relevant didactics. Lastly, Fellows with participate in general Neuropsychology Division activities related to patient scheduling, chart review, database management, test administration quality control, test material management/updates, and the appropriate dissemination of neuropsychological/psychological results to referral sources and patients.
