• . Ensures that quality, safe care is given to each patient. Uses patient rounds and CQI reports to determine quality care is being given. Acts as a liaison between patient, physician and family.
• Provides comprehensive information of shift activity to incoming staff and nurse managers through written and/or oral reports to ensure continuity of care.
• Reviews, investigates, and follows up on complaints, grievances or emergencies with patients, families, staff and physicians as warranted in conjunction with Nurse Manager.
• Acts as a liaison between physician and nursing personnel. Effectiveness is evidenced when the physician’s orders are carried out promptly and accurately, communications are clear as documented.
• Obtains medication from pharmacy when the pharmacy is closed and follows established policy and procedure in the procurement of the same.

Pay: $25.50 - $35.00 per hour
