Jed’s Bread Craft Bakery is Hiring a Baker (Lamination/Production) Near Bloomfield, NJ

Job Summary:
We are a small but high quality artisan bakery servicing select Farmer's Markets and looking to hire a skilled and passionate baker for lamination and shaping of viennoiseries.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to work overnight Monday or Tuesday from 3 or 4am
  • Responsible for laminating, cutting/shaping croissants and Danishes.
  • Ability to work efficiently and have attention to detail
  • Be organized
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly
  • Ability to stand on feet for long hours
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out the trash, etc
  • Reliable
  • Must have food Handler’s Certification
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations

Must have 1 year experience with lamination and baking.

If you are passionate about baking and possess the required skills, we invite you to join our team as a Baker. More hours available if suitable and willing.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
