```Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Collection Agent to join our team. As a Collection Agent, you will be responsible for contacting individuals and businesses to collect outstanding debts. Your strong communication and negotiation skills, along with your ability to work with financial concepts and medical terminology, will be essential in successfully resolving delinquent accounts.

Duties:
- Contact individuals and businesses via phone, email, or mail to collect outstanding debts
- Utilize telemarketing techniques to negotiate payment plans and settlements
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and update account information
- Follow up on payment arrangements and ensure timely payments
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and address customer inquiries
- Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to debt collection

Requirements:
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to calculate debits, credits, and account balances
- Familiarity with medical terminology and revenue cycle management is a plus
- Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate payment options and resolve disputes
- Proven experience in collections or a related field is preferred
- Proficient in using collection software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and meet assigned targets within specified deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
