Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stockroom Manager. As the Stockroom Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory and operations of our stockroom. Your role will involve managing a team, ensuring efficient stock management, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise stockroom staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement stockroom procedures to ensure accurate inventory control
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing department to ensure timely replenishment
- Conduct regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and plan for promotions or seasonal changes
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom environment
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to stock availability or order fulfillment
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, monitor trends, and generate reports
- Implement efficient systems for receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize stockroom operations

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar role
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues in a professional manner
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate with suppliers to obtain favorable pricing terms
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and cost control measures
- Experience in employee orientation, training, and team management
- Knowledge of market trends and industry best practices in stockroom management
