Locations in all Northwest Region parks including Kill Creek and Lexington Lake Parks
Responsibilities include all aspect of natural resource management in the Northwest Region of JCPRD. Including chemical and mechanical control of noxious weeds, tree removal, prescribed fire, equipment maintenance, and other general natural resource tasks as assigned. Workers may assist with general park maintenance and operations as needed and assigned.
May operate equipment such as tractors, loaders, UTVs, ATVs, trucks, and trailers as trained, assigned, and licensed.
Pay starts at $15.00hr / 40hrs week up to 990 Hours in season.
Preference will be given to individuals with an interest in natural resource management with advanced course work in the field.
Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.
JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department.
