KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE:

Customer Service

- Greets and assists customers in finding products and delivers outstanding customer service

- Partners with other team members when additional support is needed

- Actively listens to customer issues in a calm and agreeable manner to resolve problems

- Maintains clean and organized fitting room environment

SET / Visual / Environment

- Assists with the SET processes by planning floor moves, placing graphics, and executing visual detailing based on company guidance

- Identifies sell-through opportunities and remerchandise the selling floor to increase rate of sale

- Responsible for maintaining all fitting room and sales floor recovery processes to ensure a clean and organized store environment

- Contributes to the execution of visual elements to support merchandising statements

- Responsible for stockroom maintenance

Pricing & Signing

- Sets promotional price signs as instructed to communicate a clear and accurate pricing message to the customer

- Completes price changes accurately and on time in order to maximize sales

door to floor / RFID / Stock / Inventory

- Heavy focus on sales floor merchandise organization and recovery

- Executes cycle counts and Stock Ledger updates as directed

- Supports Radio Frequency Identification process, including Shoe on Display activities, to maintain accurate inventory in-stocks

- Contributes to merchandise organization, recycles materials, and prepares not-for-retail items for returns

- Unloads the truck and prepares merchandise to flow to the floor in a timely manner per company guidance

- Participates in annual inventory preparation, auditing, and error correction activities

- Prepares Defective Merchandise to Transfer Out of the store along with other various shipping and receiving activities as needed

Enterprise Fulfillment

- Monitors the Enterprise Fulfillment application, picks merchandise orders, and acknowledges completion

- Accurately packs orders in accordance with packing requirements

- Completes all Ship from Store and Buy Online Pick Up in Store activities in a timely manner

jcp.com Operations

- Researches jcp.com order shortages/overages & completes shipment check-in - Assists with the jcp.com return processes

- Completes order binning and system reporting to complete the jcp.com processes

- Assists with overall organization and maintenance of jcp.com stockroom

- Processes jcp.com order delivery and returns transactions

General Operations

- Partners with Merchandise Associates/Assistants to replenish store and/or takes personal action to replenish products from inventory

- Participates in annual inventory processes

Performance Standards

- Supports company shrink and safety initiatives

- Meets established performance standards for the role on a consistent basis, including (but not limited to) customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance

Work Experience / Skills

- Customer service and retail operations background preferred

- Must be familiar with retail merchandising
