Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cosmetologist to join our team at JCPenney Salon at the Christiana Mall in Newark, DE. As a Cosmetologist, you will provide a wide range of beauty services to our clients, including haircuts, styling, coloring, extensions, and more. If you have excellent customer service skills and a strong passion for the beauty industry, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Perform haircuts, styling, and coloring services according to client preferences
- Provide hair extension services, including installation and maintenance
- Perform barbering services such as beard trims and shaves
- Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and recommend products for at-home use
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in workstations and tools
- Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and handling payments
- Actively promote retail sales of beauty products

Qualifications:
- Valid cosmetology license in the state of Delaware
- Proven experience as a Cosmetologist or Hair Stylist
- Proficiency in using salon software (e.g., Meevo) for appointment scheduling and client management
- In-depth knowledge of color theory and various hair coloring techniques
- Experience with hair extensions, including installation, maintenance, and removal
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and create a positive salon experience for clients
- Knowledge of eyelash extension application techniques is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.75 - $30.00 per hour
