JConnelly is Hiring a Digital Media Analyst Near Parsippany, NJ

Role Summary: In this capacity, the individual is responsible for daily data monitoring and analysis for key JConnelly clients, covering tasks like campaign assessment, establishing benchmarks, forecasting, and ongoing surveillance. You will convert raw data into meaningful insights and recommendations that influence communication approaches, fine-tune strategies, and steer campaign choices. 
You must consistently represent and reflect the company's core values, approach, and high standards of excellence in client, media, and public interactions. 
Major Responsibilities: 
  • Real-Time Monitoring: Use specialized tools to monitor data, including but not limited to brand mentions, sentiment, and engagement across media and other social/online platforms.
  • Quantitative Analysis: Examine raw data metrics (i.e. media, social, influencer-related, etc.) like reach, impressions, clicks, conversions, and other trends to assess immediate performance.
  • Qualitative Analysis: Dive into feedback, comments, and discussions to understand the nuances of audience sentiment, perception, and behavior.
  • Create actionable reports across owned, earned, influencer, and paid media: Consolidate and convert data to present strategic and actionable insights as well as trends, potential areas of improvement, and strategy validation.
  • Create actionable recommendations, derived from analysis, to deliver to key clients.
  • Inform campaign objectives, determine KPIs, benchmarks, and create assessment frameworks for holistic planning.
  • Ensure data accuracy, exhibiting attention to detail, precision, and dedication to exemplary data methodologies.
  • Collaborate with internal creative teams to influence assessment methodologies and data management.
Education: A bachelor's or higher degree in communication, advertising, marketing, business, statistics, mathematics, or a related discipline from an accredited institution. 
Experience & Expertise: 
  • Previous experience in research (in an agency/research institute or in-house/client-side, etc.)
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling and interpreting extensive datasets from various origins, inclusive of native and third-party platforms.
  • Knowledgeable in multi-channel performance metrics.
  • Robust analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with a history of delivering actionable outcomes.
  • Comprehensive grasp of the social media landscape, including emerging platforms and best practices.
  • Ability to quickly and adeptly adapt to new tools and platforms.
  • Advanced organizational and time management abilities with strong focus on precise attention to detail
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and collaborative approach with a readiness to handle diverse tasks
  • Keen interest in learning and a proactive approach towards acquiring new skills
  • Thrives in a dynamic and fast-moving work setting
  • Proficient with all social media channels and platforms
  • Proficient with PR related software (Cision, Meltwater, Sprout, Hootsuite)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
