The PJ Library Parent Connector engages with Jewish families and build relationships with families of young children, birth through six years old. The PJ Library Parent Connector forms relationships with families of young children to foster a sense of belonging, build ties, and empower families to own their own Jewish journeys, leading to deeper connections to the Jewish community in the San Francisco area.
The PJ Library Parent Connector is a 10-hour-a-week position with a monthly budget for programming expenses and is expected to be employed for a minimum of one year.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is an in-person field-work based position. The PJ Library Parent Connector is expected to build relationships with young Jewish families through community engagement, informal and formal. This includes seeking out opportunities for relationship building throughout the city of San Francisco. For administrative responsibilities, a hybrid work schedule of up to 50% remote work is available, subject to program requirements and team schedules.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires seated work and the ability to move throughout San Francisco while building relationships with young Jewish families.
STATUS
Non-benefited, non-exempt position
HOURS/SCHEDULE
10 hours per week. Regular schedule, some weekend and evening work required. This is a 10-month position, mid-August to mid-June.
