Principle Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise hourly employees
• Resposible for the motivation and safety of those employees under their supervision
• Prepares pre-operational paperwork
• Ensures area is properly staffed/crewed to meet operational needs
• Coach and develop employees to obtain results
• Responsible formeeting volume goals, reducing claims, maximizing yields, reducing cost, and employee retention
• Maintainsgood working relationships with the Union, USDA, and maintenance employees.
• Manages job changes/rotations

Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate in English
• Bi-lingual preferred but not required
• 1-2 years proven beef processing supervisory experience; preferably in a manufacturing or productionenvironment
• Ability to work 50 hours
• People management skills

Working Conditions:

• Working in cold temperature
• Frequent exposure to knives, hot water and production machinery.
• Physical demands of this position may include a great deal of walking and stair climbing.
• Environment consists of slick floors and loud noise.
• Employee will typically work 50-55 hours per week M-F with some Saturday work if necessary.
