Sales Account Representative
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: The Foodservice Sales Team is responsible for pork sales to foodservice clients across the country.
We are seeking a strong candidate to manage accounts for our Pork Foodservice Sales Team located in Greeley, CO who is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with foodservice customers and overseeing sales, ultimately driving revenue growth, through recognized sales methods.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage current and future foodservice accounts for JBS Pork.
  • Use product and market knowledge to generate sales.
  • Maintain and develop new program business with foodservice distributors and restaurants.
  • Work with margin management to increase sales margin.
  • Contact accounts daily to discuss the availability and pricing of individual products.
  • Responsible for following market conditions and recognizing market trends.
  • Thorough understanding of customer organizational structure and merchandising strategy.
  • Understanding of all accounts in department to make team stronger.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • BS/BA Degree in Agri Business, Meat Science, Marketing, Economics, Ag Econ, Animal Science or Agriculture related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ previous sales experience in foodservice or comparable field.
  • Prior premium pork or restaurant sales experience.
  • Well-organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to compile, analyze, and communicate data efficiently.
  • Superb phone and strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be team oriented with a desire to work in corporate office environment.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Must be technologically savvy, MS Office Suite applications a must.
  • Web Ex, MS Teams and virtual/remote platform systems a must.
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $80,000 - $100,000; and
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
